Last week was Week 3 of training for the first cohort of our West of England Film/HETV Workforce Development Programme.
Sessions included a special visit to VI Rental, one of our tenant companies based on site at the Studios in our Creative Hub.
The team demoed some of their fantastic camera and lighting kit and talked about the kind of set ready skills that are necessary for practical work in the industry, shedding light on what working in lighting/camera and the field of kit hire is like.
They also talked about how they support different types of production, including The Great British Bake Off (Channel 4) and Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker (Channel 4), along with many other tv shows, short films, music videos and commercials. Big thanks to them for taking the time to inspire and inform our trainees!
