BBC reimagining of Enid Blyton’s iconic stories created for television and executive produced by Nicolas Winding Refn (by NWR) and Matthew Read (Moonage Pictures). Starring Diaana Babnicova (George), Elliott Rose (Julian), Kit Rakusen (Dick), Flora Jacoby Richardson (Anne) and Bearded Collie Cross Kip (Timmy).
Production of series two – comprising two films; ‘Mystery at the Prospect Hotel’ and ‘Big Trouble on Billycock Hill’ – was based at The Bottle Yard, which hosted studio sets for ‘Kirrin Cottage’. Location f ilming took place across Wales and the South West of England, including Gloucestershire’s Berkeley Castle, Chavenage House (which doubled for The Prospect Hotel) and Whitminster House.
