Steve Backshall investigates the deadliest animals that ever walked the earth; the dinosaurs.

Using cutting-edge CGI, the latest filming techniques and the stunning BBC archive, this HD series comprises 10 x 30 min episodes filmed over four weeks in October 2017 on our giant green screen measuring 80ft x 40ft m x 27ft. Sets included Steve’s ‘Dino-Den’ complete with props and animal visitors.

A series of engineering rigs were constructed to enable Steve to carry out a range of stunts that give a sense of the scale and power of dinosaurs – featuring Spitfires, tanks, helicopters and monster trucks.
