Sequel to BAFTA and Golden Globe winning series Wolf Hall (which also based production at The Bottle Yard Studios in 2014), The Mirror and the Light is based on the final novel in Hilary Mantel’s multi award-winning trilogy and traces the final four years of Cromwell’s life. Starring Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Jonathan Pryce, Kate Phillips, Lilit Lesser, Harriet Walter, Harry Melling, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Timothy Spall, Alex Jennings and Charlie Rowe.

Production for the six part series was based in offices at The Bottle Yard Studios whilst filming took place on location across England and Wales between December 2023 and April 2024. The Studio team assisted Picture Zero to achieve a sustainable strike of more than 23 tonnes of scenery.
