We were pleased to support #FilmStrikeforClimate on 30 August when it visited The Bottle Yard Studios as part of a full day of action across three sites in Bristol.
Organised by Extinction Rebellion in partnership with the Youth Strike for Climate movement, #FilmStrikeforClimate travelled to around 13 different film locations around the UK to put on Star Wars themed performances to ask the film industry to show solidarity with the movement.
It was a really positive event with speakers, orchestras, beatboxers and plenty of information shared with the film industry workforce here at The Bottle Yard. The demonstration went on to visit Aardman Animations and the BBC Natural History Unit, where a full orchestra played the Star Wars theme with rebels dressed as Star Wars characters
