We’re pleased to support this year’s Our City competition, which opened for entries on 25 September with a launch at Encounters Short Film Festival.
Our City is a 90-second film competition for new talent supported by Mayor of Bristol Marvin Rees, with a £1000 prize fund kindly donated by Aardman, Doghouse, Drummer TV, Films@59 and Icon Films.
Last year’s competition attracted more than 50 entries and this year we’re looking to make it bigger, so if you work with young talent, have people on work experience or want to contribute mentoring or support, this is for you!
Our City is part of the UNESCO City of Film, supported by the wider TV sector through RTS Bristol and community groups including Calling the Shots, Creative Youth Network, Knowle West Media Centre, Rife, Sharpshotz and Ujima Radio.
