A brand new Channel 4 pilot hosted by Noel Edmonds is set to transmit live from The Bottle Yard Studios this Christmas.
Airing at 7pm on Friday 30th December, Noel Edmonds’ Sell or Swap sees Edmonds return to The Bottle Yard, which was home to hit gameshow Deal or No Deal from 2013 until it completed its final run this autumn.
Produced by Crook Productions, the one hour special sees guests bid live on an eclectic mix of items with up to three auctions running at the same time during the show.
Fiona Francombe, The Bottle Yard Studios’ Site Director said: “We are delighted to welcome Noel back to The Bottle Yard Studios for his new live show. Deal or No Deal was such an iconic and important show for Bristol, with almost 3,000 episodes made in the city over 11 years, three of which were spent here at The Bottle Yard. Hosting Noel’s new show made by Crook Productions represents the continuation of this strong relationship and we look forward to seeing the exciting results when this fast-paced show in front of a live audience is transmitted live from our site.”
Crook Productions said: “It’s great to be in The Bottle Yard, which is really developing as fantastic, adaptable regional studio. We’re looking forward to making a great show for Channel 4 with their help and support.”
Unwanted items? Unrequited dreams? Noel and his Sell or Swap team are on hand to help. The owners will have a funny or emotive reason why they desperately need to dispose of their item – it might be an unwanted Christmas present, an object that the family rows over or something bought in haste. And each of the sellers will have a dream they’d love to realise if they can find a new owner for their goods. As the dynamic 360-degree rotating stage spins around to reveal each item that’s on offer Noel and his SOS squad will be on hand to create a bidding frenzy.
